Liesjärvi National Park is located about 100 km to North-West from Helsinki. It’s not a big park, but it has few good and easy access sightseeing routes. Park is easy to access by your own car or by bus. I went for a trekking trip on Saturday morning till Sunday evening with group of friends. We started from the Savilahti camping site and decided to walk all over tothe Kaksvetinen camping site, where we wanted to sleep over.
During the trek we experienced a fast and furious rain storm, but luckily it didn’t last for too long. We got to camping site early evening and sun started to shine between the clouds. Camping site had few other groups staying over the night and more people came during the night. Also swans were swimming and eating close by the lake whole night. Night we spend cooking food in open fire, telling stories and bad jokes.
Next day was full of sun and hot. Also more and more people entered the Park. At the end of the trek we hiked up to Hyypiö sightseeing spot where you can see up from the rock lakery view of the National park and also the best views of the National Park.
